Lotus IoT

Connected monitoring and touch-panel control for ozone systems

A touch control panel, an industrial PLC, a 4G gateway and a live cloud dashboard. Every part of it was designed, built and coded by Lotus in Chennai, so we control the whole system end to end, and so do you.

Lotus control-room touch panel: fleet wall with six ozone machines, five running and one stopped

100% in-house

Built by Lotus, top to bottom

Lotus IoT is not a third-party platform with our logo on it. Our engineers wrote the panel software, the PLC logic, the gateway firmware and the cloud, and designed the gateway hardware.

That means one team owns the whole system. When a plant needs a new screen, a new interlock or a fix, we build it ourselves and deliver it, usually over the air. There is no outside vendor that can change its terms, raise its prices or switch off a service your machines depend on.

Touch panel software

Every screen, button and log view on the panel, written by our engineers.

PLC control logic

The ladder program that runs the machines, the interlocks and the safe-start rules.

IoT gateway hardware

Our own board with a 4G LTE modem, WiFi and connections for machine sensors.

Gateway firmware

The link between the panel and the cloud, built to recover on its own from network drops and power cuts.

Lotus Cloud and dashboard

Live status, alerts, run reports and history for every connected machine.

Over-the-air updates

Signed software updates for the panel and the gateway, delivered over 4G or WiFi.

Live at our latest installation

One screen. Six machines.

A 10.1 inch touch panel in the control room runs six ozone machines on two production floors below it. Operators manage the whole plant from one place, and every machine keeps its own safety logic on the PLC.

From the control room, an operator can

  • See all six machines and their state at a glance on the fleet wall
  • Start or stop the whole plant with START ALL and STOP ALL
  • Switch each machine's mains and run its two ozone lines independently
  • Set on/off cycle timers per line, with a live countdown on screen
  • See exactly why a start is refused: WATER TEMP, OXYGEN, E-STOP and more
  • Read every start, stop, fault and alert in the built-in logbook

How it works

From the machine to the cloud

Control and safety stay at the machine. The cloud only listens, records and updates software.

01

Machines and sensors

Generator modules, water level and temperature, oxygen, E-stop and run feedback are wired to the PLC.

02

Industrial PLC

Runs every interlock and keeps the machines safe on its own, even with the screen switched off.

03

Touch control panel

The operator's screen. Talks to the PLC over an industrial RS-485 (Modbus) link.

04

Lotus IoT gateway

Carries the panel's live state, events and running hours to the cloud over 4G LTE or WiFi.

05

Lotus Cloud

Live status, alert history, run reports and signed software updates.

Control and reliability

Your plant stays under your control

Because we wrote every layer, we decided exactly what the cloud is allowed to do, and what it never will.

Read-only cloud

The cloud monitors and logs. It can never start or stop a machine. Every operating decision is made on site, by your people.

Signed updates with automatic rollback

Each software update is signed and verified before it is installed. If a new version fails to start, the device returns to the last working version by itself.

Nothing lost when the network is down

The logbook lives on the panel. When the connection returns, every event and running hour is synced to the cloud, in order.

A connection that heals itself

The gateway checks its own link and rebuilds it after power cuts or network drops, and can fall back from 4G to WiFi.

What you get on the panel and in the cloud

Live status

Every machine, line and interlock, as it is right now.

Event logbook

Starts, stops, refusals, faults and acknowledgements, with time and source.

Running hours

Ozone running time per machine, per day.

Cycle timers

On/off duty cycling per line, set from the panel.

Alerts and history

Active alerts with severity, plus a searchable alert history.

Role-based access

Customers see their own machines; our service team sees what it needs.

Full-resolution anomalies

Readings around every anomaly are kept at full detail, permanently.

Silent-machine escalation

If a machine stops reporting, the platform escalates and opens a service follow-up.

From one machine to a whole plant

The same platform, sized to the job. It works with the rest of the Lotus Tech Stack: ozone, UV-C, oxygen and nano-bubble systems.

Standalone machines

A touch panel on the machine face, a PLC inside and a 4G gateway, so a single unit has the same control, logging and cloud view as a full plant.

Control rooms

One panel for many machines spread across floors. Operators run the plant from the control room while every machine keeps its own safety logic.

Monitoring for installed machines

The Lotus IoT telemetry board reads the generator's own controller and adds sensors for current, power, cabinet temperature, humidity, water and electrode temperatures and gas pressure.
